Siddikur, Mollah miss Indian Open cut

It was disappointment for Bangladesh golfers Siddikur Rahman and Zamal Hossain Mollah as both missed the cut following the second round of the Hero Indian Open Friday at Delhi Golf and Country Club.

Siddikur came to one of his favourite courses on the back of a somewhat encouraging display in the Maybank Championship in Malaysia where he finished joint 15th, but put in a below-par display in Delhi, finishing 76th, alongside six others.

The 34-year old Siddikur carded four-over-par 76 in the first round and that was where the damage was done as a par score of 72 in the second round failed to improve his fortune.

Siddikur aggregated an overall four-over-par 148 while Mollah fared little better, finishing with a total of six-over-par 150 after scores of 73 and 77.

Mollah was tied for 90th alongside 12 others.
